Dear Louie, I am sorry to receive the message from you about Robert passing. I know You and Robert have experienced so much during your lifetime together and I know how much you love one another. When you mentioned Robert was comfortable and passed away while sleeping this reminded me of how my mother passed away while sleeping. Because of my spiritual beliefs I believe we will see Robert again someday and this belief has been a source of strength and comfort to me when I have lost significant people in my life. I know it is very painful and difficult to part with those you love. Although I will not be able to join you this weekend I am extremely grateful I had the opportunity to visit Robert and You this past December 2015 between Christmas and New Year’s. Your kindness toward me during my visit will never be forgotten. Going out to dinner, taking walks with Robert and You, and attending a Church Service together will always be pleasant memories for me of my visit with the two of you together. I still have the one and only green coffee filter you gave me for the new KEURIG coffee maker I ordered during my visit with you. I admire you for all you have done to assist Robert throughout his illness. I plan to be in communication with you and want to fly to New York or Florida to see you. So I will talk about this with you at a later time when you feel ready for a visit. I love Robert and You very much and value my relationship with you. I do not know if I ever discussed this with you, however, when I was a child and Robert visited Massachusetts he would let me sit on the bar of the bike and take me for a bike ride around the neighborhood. I was only about 4 or 5 years old at the time. He was very caring and kind. It is interesting the memories we carry with us for a lifetime and beyond. I will miss him. The next time you and I see one another it will be different with Robert not there, however, it will be a pleasure to see you. I will pray for you to continue to have strength as you proceed forward. I will talk with you soon. Love, Mark
