I'll never forget my Uncle and Godfather. How our family anxiously awaited his return from World War II, looking out the window and listening for the door bell to ring. When, finally, there he was on our doorstep, with his beautiful wife, Aunt Carol, and adorable Camellia. How handsome he was in his soldier's uniform - he looked like the famous actor Tyrone Power. We loved listening to stories of his service in Italy and how the Italians joyously welcomed the American soldiers when they liberated Italy. After a while they were blessed with their son Michael.
