It’s so strange the things you miss…you use to either text or call me most mornings, bright and early (way before it’s time to get up for work)…now how I miss those calls and texts!

You’ll be like, “time to get up, up, up, up!” I’ll respond, “I’m going back to bed and snooze the clock for a bit longer…catch you when I’m at work!

Then I’ll see you at my house, in the kitchen and/or bedroom, eating and talking, talking, talking  you always had ten thousands questions of “why” this and “why” that.
It kept the conversation interesting and flowing, and at times frustrating (because you could be opinionated and totally old fashioned). Like I used to tell you “caveman” style!

I loved your humor, except for when it was directed at me  Our times were always filled laughter and the best part was, we were both always honest and kept things real!

It’s exactly a month now, since you’ve been gone and I miss you soooooooo much, it was hard to just write this little bit (because I’ve been so sad) and I keep crying! I never knew how much I LOVE YOU and how I don’t want to be without you in my life! My heart is broken/aching…

from the first time I met you in 3rd grade I knew we would become best friends !!!! I was so shy and you made me laugh about everything.
No amount of time and space erased the bond we shared. We could talk for hours about every and anything. My heart is broken into a million pieces that ONLY our God can mend, UNTIL I SEE THAT COLGATE SMILE AGAIN RIP my brother, LOVE YOU ALWAYS.
