BBQ of '96

I first met Dona Carmen back in the summer of 1996 at a barbecue in her back yard before I married Debbie. My mother, who was in the middle to late stages of Alzheimer's disease, came with me. Dona Carmen welcomed us with open arms and was so giving. We felt like family. Dona Carmen attended to my mother and made sure she was comfortable. I'll never forget that. I later got together with Dona Carmen on many occasions. She is a beautiful person ...a beautiful spirit ...and I will miss her. John Eleftheriou
