Her Gift of Hospitality

I would like to remember Victoria, (my aunt and godmother), for her God given special gift of  "Hospitality." 1st Peter 4:9 says "offer hospitality to one another without grumbling."

Victoria was the "Spanish Statue of Liberty" welcoming family and friends that arrived in New York for the first time. She gave them temporary shelter, food, and support until they found a place to live. Her hospitality was always given with no thought of personal gain. When the migration ceased, she continued throughout her life helping other family members, her community, and Church, in more ways than I can express.

****Victoria is home with God, but, she won't stop her "Statue of Liberty" ways. No, when we see her again, she will be with St. Peter, at the Pearlie Gates of Heaven, waiving at all who enter. I can almost see her as she waives her hand, and says "Hola, Bienvenidos, Como Esta? Entre, Entre." ****

My deepest condolences to Tio Luis, Diana & Alice, in-laws, her grand/great & great grandchildren, sister, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Madrina Victoria, I will always be grateful to your kindness, hospitality, and love. You are a gift from heaven who leaves behind many wholesome memories.You will always be in my heart. Until we meet again.
