POPPY

I first meet Tom in 1999 during Memorial Day Weekend. I was invited to a birthday party for Tom and realized his birthday was one day after mine.Through the years we shared much time together during holidays and get togethers, and some of my fondest memories of these days involved hearing Pop tell stories concerning his upbringing in manhattan during the depression, about his time as a gunner in WWII over the Pacific and later about his years as a union truck driver delivering ice cream. There was never a time that I was with Pop that he was not without his walkman and tapes(he had dozens of shoeboxes filled with them) of Sinatra, Tommy Dorsey, Louis Armstrong and many of the artist from the Golden Age of music. The greatest impression that Pop will leave me with his was his devotion to his family, especially to his wife Rozalin. I have never seen a love so deep in my life and because of this he has imbedded a blueprint in my mind on how to be a great husband and father. You will always be remembered and your legacy will continue on. Thanks POP. Love Tommy.
