Obituary for Digna Rosario
Digna Rosario, 82, of Bronx, NY, passed away at Weil Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, New York on November 21, 2016.

Born August 12, 1934 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, to the late Ramon Ortiz and Petra Suarez, Digna enjoyed a career in politics as an administrative assistant to the mayor of Puerto Rico before migrating to the United States in the 1970s with her husband and two daughters.
Digna is predeceased by her husband Tomas Rosario in 1991. Digna was a much beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was well-known in her community for her loving heart and generous spirit. Digna is survived by her daughters Wanda Rosario and Vilma Rosario; her grandchildren Marilyn Torres Guidice, Julie Torres, Trystan Rosario, Isabella Rosario, and Jonah Rosario; and her great-granddaughter Lucciana Guidice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 and Wednedsay, November 23, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sisto Funeral Home in Bronx, New York. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Raymond's Church in Bronx, New York followed by internment at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
