While living at Somerset Gardens Assisted Living; mom's congestive heart failure and multiple falls left her imobile and in need of intense services. She was moved downstairs to the "Country Cottage" a secure memory unit. The basement floor had no radio reception at all. The one day I noticed something odd. A pure and clear radio station with peaceful music coming through on the portable cd/radio. Listening to the station on visits I realized it was a true blessing - the station-Hope Radio-the Christian station in Plainview. Hope Radio played continuously for our mother. Mom, Eda, Deanna and I received messages of inspiration and hope daily.
