Domenico Castaldo, 79, of Bronx, NY, succumbed to lung cancer at Calvary Hospital surrounded by his family on February 24, 2015. He was born April 14, 1936 to Giuseppe and Vittoria Castaldo in Gallo Matese, Italy. On April 4, 1964 he married Elisa Eduardo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Domenico is survived by his wife Elisa of 51 years, daughter Grace and her husband Patrick Barry, son Joseph and his wife Michelle Castaldo, loving grandsons Patrick, Michael, Ryan, Joseph and Christopher, sisters Domenica Palumbo, Caterina Rocchio, and many extended family.
Domenico loved working on his house in Calicoon and on his cars until he was forced to stop due to his illness.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00PM at Sisto Funeral Home on Friday, February 27th. Funeral services for Domenico will be a St. Frances de Chantal Church Saturday, February 28th 9:45 am. Domenico will be laid to rest at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in Bronx, NY.
