On Mother's Day, 2009, my family celebrated at Spoto's Restaurant. This was the first year that we didn't celebrate it at my Gram's house because she passed. We all had a nice dinner, but, it was bittersweet because of the death of my Gram. It affected my Mom tremendously, especially since she lost her brother, my Uncle Tony, in March. She was happy to spend the day with her family, and I was happy to be be able to spend the day with her. I would have never imagined that two years later, she would be gone. She was with our family this past Mother's Day, I know she was...It was a sad day for me...will continue to be sad for a long time...
