Growing up, Nana would sew clothes for me. I would get so excited to pick out patterns and materials and felt very special that I was wearing one of a kind outfits. I specifically remember the beige silk shirt with the button cuffed sleaves. That look happens to be back in style and I think of Nana when I see shirts like that in the store.
