Uncle Joe and Aunt Pauline

Memories of my nephew John From his earliest years, John had a love for boating and a special great love for fishing. His father taught John the ins and outs of fishing and the various methods of catching the different types of fish. He taught him how to clean and fillet the fish. John was a master at filleting fish. Hence father and son had a great love for the outdoor life. As John grew older, he would travel at very early hours and great distances to catch the largest fish.. John's other outdoor love was hunting, whether with rifle or bow, John was very skillful. I would receive phone calls from John, inquiring how my wife Pauline and I were feeling. We were very fortunate to have a long conversation with John two weeks ago. John spoke so warmly about his children and how proud he was of them. John was kind, friendly, thoughtful and proud. He had many friends. He was very proud of his Slovak heritage. Pauline and I loved John and will miss him. His life was too short. God called John to join his father and mother at a better place. May his soul rest in peace
