Dance at PS 72

I remember this day, as Jackie got ready to go to the spring dance from class at PS 72.  She had lost her hair clip and asked me, "Mrs. McLeod can you make me something to put in my hair?"  I said, "Yes Jackie".  I went down to the PTA room, asked if i could borrow a piece of fabric from their sewing craft.  I found a piece of pink, went back to the classroom and made a fabric flower with a band and gave it to her. She was so happy and excited, smiling and laughing, as she went down to the dance. I was happy to do that for her.
