Andrew "Chick" Chirico

On December 9, 2014  at the age of  93 Andrew “Chick” Chirico   Passed away

Chick was born in Manhattan November 30, 1921, he grew up in the Belmont section of

the Bronx he served in the US Army in WW II, and worked for the NYC Department of Water

 Supply Gas  and Electric.  In 1953 he married Clara Tudisco  they had 4 children  Andrew, Rita,

Anthony and Clareann. and  4 Grandchildren  Justine Anne ,Anthony Vincent, Michael and Tiffany.

In 1959 the family move to Throggs Neck  then in 1969 they move to Waterbury Avenue where he

spent the next 45 years. Chick worked hard, for many years he sold fruit and vegetable with his

brother and father in the Arthur Ave Market, even after he retired from his NYC job worked part time

delivering Ice cream to stores. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed family vacations and holiday

dinners with family. Chick always had a good word to say, everyone who knew him loved him.

You are only gone a few days now but you will be missed. Rest in peace Dad we love you.
