Obituary for Vito Tocco
Vito Peter Tocco, 74, of Delray Beach, FL originally from The Bronx, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2022 after a long battle with bladder Cancer.
Vito was born on September 23, 1947 to Peter and Elizabeth Tocco of the Bronx, NY. He graduated from Cardinal Spellman in the Bronx, NY. He was originally from 113th Street in East Harlem where the entire Tocco family came from.
Vito was quite the character and certainly one of a kind. You follow me? was one of his famous sayings. Vito would tell you like it is whether you wanted to hear it or not. In the neighborhood he had the reputation for being eccentric, an oddball and a ladies man.
Vito was predeceased by his Father Peter “Petey Fish”, his Mother Elizabeth and his sister Ann. He is survived by his cousin Henrietta “Hedy”, his niece Elizabeth, his nephew John, and many, many cousins. His service will be held on April 7, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm. Entombment at St. Raymond’s 1:30 pm.
