Vinny S Gooljar was born on February 19, 1958, in Barrackpore, Trinidad and Tobago.
He moved to America in the 1973, where he soon after met his wife Shanti. Vinny’s love and appreciation for fine art came from his days working in an art studio in SoHo. He was a super fan of WWE and the Yankees. He loved all things lavish and bold, including jewelry and convertible cars.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sunmatie and Roopnarine Gooljar; and siblings Prabhawatie (Dulcie), Vidia (Veed), Vishnudath (Biss), Bissoondeo (Besa), Dianand and Krishna. He was also predeceased by his nephew Indraprakash (Narsha) who was like a brother to him.
Vinny is survived by his wife Shanti, sons Phillip and Michael, and grandchildren Gia, Anthony, and Krish. He is also survived by his sisters Diawatie, Indra and Vicki. He leaves behind 9 nephews, 11 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
