Obituary for Valentin Serrano
Valentin Serrano resident of the Bronx, NY passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 79.
Valentin was predeceased by his mother Eugenia Caraballo and father Angel Serrano. Valentin leaves behind his loving wife Gladys Lugo-Serano, beloved daughters Alejandra E. Serrano, Risdalia Serrano, Miladys Serrano, and cherished grandchildren, Angelique, Elias, Eva, Esabella, Amelia, Lucas, Zariah, and Vincent. Valentin was a beloved brother to his siblings & in-laws, loving uncle to all his nieces & nephews, and dear friend to many.
Valentin was a special person who touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered by the many lives he impacted with his compassion, kindness, and sense of humor. He truly enjoyed dancing to salsa music, playing chess, and watching basketball.
Valentin worked for about 25 years at the American Express building as a manager in the mail department. During his time working there, he encountered both attacks to the World Trade Center. That did not stop him from helping many people during those times of uncertainty.
Valentin dedicated his life to his family. For Valentin, his family was first. Valentin will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched daily.
