Obituary for Rosa Confreda
Rosa Confreda was called Home to Heaven on January 5, 2023. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.
She was born on October 24, 1932 in Naples in the small village of Gallo Matese. She immigrated with her family to America in her early twenties. She is the wife of the late Antonio Confreda who predeceased her in 2015. She is the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lucia Pilla and sister of the late Benedetto Pilla.
She is survived by her sister, Maria Pilla, and four children, Joseph Confreda, Maria Sottolano and her husband, Mike, Lucy Williams and her husband, Russell, and Dominick Confreda and his wife, Nancy, as well as eleven grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, Marie, Daniel, Christina and her husband, Eric, Michael, Ariana and her husband, Shqiprim, Jaclyn, Matthew, Nicky and Joey as well as two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Anthony.
Rosa will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew and loved her.
