Ramon Ruiz was born on January 6, 1933 in Maricao, Puerto Rico to Maria Antonia Canana and Gaspar Ruiz. He was married 55 years to Hilda R. Ruiz nee Rodriguez. The marriage was blessed with 6 loving children , Edwin Ruiz, Janet Ruiz, Raymond Ruiz, Margie Rodriguez, Miriam Santana, and Lillian Robles. Ramon was the proud grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 15, 1 great great grandson and 1 great great granddaughter on the way. He is survived by 5 sisters and 1 brother, and 1 brother has passed on. Also he is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ramon was employed for 40 years in the mattress manufacturing industry. After retirement he helped manage his son's auto parts company. He loved Latin music, especially dancing and going to concerts with his wife Hilda. Ramon enjoyed sitting on his porch and had so much love for cars, especially classic cars. But most of all his love for his family was everything to him!
