I love you Nanny and will forever be thankful for the times we shared. All the times you came over and spent the night with us. The holidays we shared. I will also remember the times you took me to the bar you worked at in Brooklyn as a child. We will always keep you in our hearts and memories. I know you are in a better place and I pray that you are at peace. I know you will continue to watch over all of us. I Love you

For my 16th birthday, my sister Phyllis threw me a birthday party at her apartment. Our dad had passed away a few weeks earlier and I had went to Farmingdale College for the summer. I was grieving and also away from my family. She coordinated this special treat and did all the preparations, cooking etc. I was so excited because she even invited my new friends from the college. However, she was so busy inviting people she didnt realize the ration of girls to boys were 10 to 1 LOL. It was so thoughtful of her to try to brighten my summer when we both were grieving the loss of our dad. That was the most thoughtful thing I can remember. I miss you already my sister. You will always be in my heart. Love you always.

I pray that God's peace surrounds and strengthens you all, knowing that Phyllis is no longer in pain. I haven't seen her in years, but I will always remember her smile and laughter which at thought, still lightens my heart. My love to you all.
