Olga Iris Benitez Carrasquillo was born on Sunday June 22nd 1941 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico.
Olga was the daughter of Agustin Benitez Martinez and Isabel Carrasquillo Negron.
Olga was raised by her grandparents Monserrate Benitez-Benitez and Braulia Martinez Gerena, better known as Laura.
Olga Iris Benitez is survived by her only daughter Eileen Sepulveda and her grandson, Jesse Miguel Tejeda. She also had a total of 13 brothers and sisters of which three older brothers had passed away before her.
Olga Iris Benitez was a single mother who was known for being selfless, hard-working, dedicated and exemplary. Olga raised and educated her daughter with high moral values and elevated Christian principles.
Olga Iris Benitez also assisted in the upbringing of her grandson, Jesse.
Olga Iris Benitez accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in her youth and she was truly a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord above all things.
She was a super human being with profound sentiments that consisted of being humble, friendly, happy and a good friend. She empathized with the opain of her neighbor and she would laugh and rejoice with the joy of others.
Her favorite Bible verse was Psalm 27:10, “Though my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.”
One of the songs that would fill her heart with joy and that it would minister to her soul so profoundly was the song by Arleen Lopez entitled, “The Trial”(in Spanish it is known as La Prueba).
“So therefore, let us honor and love our parents while we still have our breathe of life.”

Olga Iris Benitez Carrasquillo nació un domingo, 22 de Junio del 1941 en Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Hija de Agustín Benítez Martínez e Isabel Carasquillo Negrón. Olga fue criada por sus abuelos paternos Monserrate Benítez Benítez y Braulia Martínez Gerena, mejor conocida por Laura.
La sobreviven su única hija Eileen Sepúlveda y su nieto Jesse Miguel Tejeda. Además de ocho hermanas y dos hermanos, sobrinos y primos. Le fallecieron dos hermanos y una hermana menor antes que ella.
Olga Iris fué una madre que se destacó ser abnegada, esforzada, dedicada y ejemplar. Crió y educó a su hija con altos valores y elevados principios cristianos. También Ayudó la formación y crianza de su nieto Jesse.
Acepto al Señor Jesucristo como su Redentor y Salvador desde su juventud. Fué una mujer temerosa de Dios y amaba al Señor sobre todas las cosas.
Era un ser humano con hermosos y profundos sentimientos; humilde, amigable, y alegre y Buena amiga, empática con el dolor del prójimo y gozaba y reía por la felicidad de otros.
Su versículo Bíblico preferido era el Salmo 27:10, “Aunque mi madre y mi padre me dejaren, con todo Jehová me recogerá.”
Una de sus alabanzas que mas llenaba su corazón de gozo y ministraba su alma era “La prueba” por Arleen Lopez.
