"The Ortega-Torres family lost their Mami Lydia on September 3, 2020. Lydia died of natural causes at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Liborio Ortega, son Peter Ortega and grandson Benjamin Ortega. She is survived by her sons Jose Antonio Ortega, Jose Luis Ortega and Miguel Angel Ortega-Torres, grandchildren Miguel Ortega Jr., Cristina Ortega, Angelique Ortega, Malisha Ortega, David Ortega and Wesley Ortega, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of close family and friends. Lydia was the glue that held the family together. She was a fantastic cook, enjoyed music and loved to dance. She was full of life and loved everyone unconditionally."
