God bless you Grandma

Every Saturday when I lived in New York was the day we would go see grandma and the rest of the family. I'd walked in and be immediately greeted by grandma's hugs and kisses, as well as the aroma of the delicious dinner she was making that day which will forever stick in my mind as the best smell ever to exist. She was everything you would expect a loving grandmother to be and more. When mom said no, she said yes. Sometimes she would let me help her pick out the bad grains of rice in the rice pot before she cooked them, (and by help, I mean I just like to put my hands in it and feel the rice tickle my skin lol), but she still let me do it. She let me play with a lot of things actually; her variety of wordsearch and crossword puzzle books, the numerous magnets on her fridge, and the music box on her dresser. She sang all the time, even in her later days. The last song I heard her sing was "Que Sera Sera," and now it'll always remind me of her. Now she is doing everything she loved to do, singing all the songs she sang, and sending out all of her love to us in a better place. She will be very missed. As you always said to us, God bless you grandma. May we meet again someday.
