Obituary for Josephine Arroyo

Josephine Arroyo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend left us on October 7, 2022. She is survived by her sister, three children, and countless grandchildren, all who will miss her dearly.

Josephine, more than anything, loved spending time with her family. An avid collector of pictures, she always made sure to have her iPad on hand to capture every moment with her loved ones. She cherished going through the photos and reliving many of her favorite memories. Our beautiful matriarch couldn’t have been more proud of the family she built.

To put this strong, dynamic woman whom we loved so much into a few words is difficult. She had an impact on us in countless ways, and everyone with a different story, as a testament to the incredible person that she was.

To know her was to know she was tough but loved all of her babies. If you had the opportunity to taste her cooking, it was one of the best meals you’ve ever had and struggle to recreate. She was the fastest bingo marker in the room and the biggest Yankee fan. Her ability to put together a puzzle, regardless of size or difficulty, unmatched. Of all the things we loved about her, to be loved by her was the greatest.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Sisto Funeral Home from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with the burial at Mount Hope Cemetery on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
