Obituary for Jerome George "Jerry" Caldwell
Jerome “Jerry” Caldwell left this earth peacefully on August 25, 2020.
A career barman and Upper West Side neighborhood fixture, Jerry was known for his charm,
his loyalty, and his genuine, loving nature.
Jerry was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on May 10, 1952 and resided in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. He is survived by relatives in Ireland including Jacinta (Markey) Caldwell, children Darren and Amanda, and grandchildren Padraig, Kylum, Kylie-May and Jake. He also leaves behind an extended family of countless friends and patrons that had the good fortune of spending time with him. Jerry had the heart of a lion and will always be remembered and held in the highest esteem.
A Private Cremation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at The All Souls Crematory. Interment of ashes will take place at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY on Friday September 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM
