Eneida Padilla-Ortiz was a retired Registered Nurse who started her career at Mount Sinai Hospital and later at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she received recognition for her years of service which totaled over 25 years. She was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and was the 3rd child born of 6 children to Eladio and Illuminada.

Eneida was a kind hearted devoted mother who selflessly and lovingly helped those in her community by pointing them to good health habits and to her God whom she loved and served. She was also a nature enthusiast, loving sister, and faithful friend. This is the core of who Eneida was.

Eneida is survived by her two sons, three grand-daughters, siblings, step-children as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.
