Dulce Argentina Martinez, age 73, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021 at Calvary Hospital with her two loving daughters by her bedside. Born in the Dominican Republic, Dulce was the daughter of late Marcelino and Luz Mercedes (Pascal) Martinez. Dulce is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Mercedes and Benito Benoit, and Angelica and Steven Terchowitz; and was a doting abuela and Nana to her grandchildren Nicholas, Brandan, Ethan, Bennett, and Cruz. Dulce was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Claudio Cabrera and siblings Agripina Marichal, Irma Rivas, Maria Rodriquez, and Marcelino Martinez.
Dulce’s greatest joy in life was being a loving mother and adoring grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family and friends celebrating the wonderful milestones and traditions that were so dear to her. Dulce’s kindness and compassion were evident to all as she was always taking care of those around her, selflessly devoted to everyone’s needs and a second mother to many. Dulce was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
