Ana Rosa Villalobos was born on March 4, 1929 in Juticalpa, Olancho, Honduras. She was the youngest of 10 children born to Ercelia and Fernando Rubi. Ana Rosa moved to New York City in the mid-1960s where she did domestic work, as well as working as a seamstress making bags. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, especially on cruises. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and attending church events, while living in the Bronx. Ana Rosa also enjoyed playing slots at casinos. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by four daughters, Ana Bessy Chandias de Montes, Honduras; Suyapa V. Villalobos, Teaneck, NJ; Eva Leticia Villalobos Rubi, McAlpin, FL; Dilcia Rodriguez, Bronx, NY; one son, Jose Villalobos, Staten Island, NY; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Ana Rosa Villalobos, of McAlpin, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She touched many people throughout her time here on Earth; she was loved by friends and family until the very end. She will never be forgotten and we will always keep her memory alive in our hearts.
