Obituary for Teresa McManus
McManus, Teresa (nee Dolan), formerly of Bailey Avenue in the Bronx and Midland Gardens in Bronxville, on May 1, 2018, at her home at The Jeanne Jugan Residence in Throggs Neck.
Beloved wife of the late Philip. Devoted mother of Teri Ann (Thomas) Fitzmaurice and Michael McManus. Cherished grandmother of Tommy, Peter, and Elizabeth. Teresa emigrated from Glangevlin, County Cavan, Ireland and was a proud American citizen. She worked at both New York Telephone and Revlon in New York City, and Saint Nicholas of Tolentine School in the Bronx.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2:00-5:00pm & 7:00-9:00 PM at The Jeanne Jugan Residence/Little Sisters of the Poor, 2999 Schurz Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at The Chapel at The Jeanne Jugan Residence. Interment will follow at Saint Raymond's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Little Sisters of the Poor c/o Jeanne Jugan would be greatly appreciated.
